Engineering supports all HAI production activities and processes with specialized studies including, but not limited to, the disposition of Discrepancy Reports.

Engineering:

• is approved by customers, such as the Hellenic Airforce, at MRB level, issuance of Engineering Orders, Local Manufacturing Design, etc.
• is staffed with highly qualified and experienced Engineers in fields such as Aeronautics, Electronics and Avionics, Materials and Special Processes, including welding, chemical processes, heat treatments etc.

Amongst specialized studies undertaken by engineering are crash damage evaluation and restoration, study and implementation of structural and avionics upgrades etc.

Engineering services are supported by the Physical Sciences Laboratory.
