On Thursday 12-5-2022, during his two-day visit to Cyprus, the Chairman of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, Vice Admiral (M) (retired), Mr. Ioannis Koutras, had successive meetings with the political and military leadership of the Republic of Cyprus.
During his visit, he met with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, the President’s Office Director Petros Demetriou, the Minister of Defence of Cyprus, Mr. Haralambos Petridis, the Director General of the Cyprus Ministry of Defence, Mr. Andreas Loukas, the Chief of the National Guard, Mr. Demokritos Zervakis and the Chief of the Cyprus Air Force Command, Brigadier General (F), Mr. Marios Florides.
The discussions focused on the presentation of the high quality standards in products and services of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, noting that HAI is the only Greek entity participating in the HELLAS SAT programme.
The discussions were held in a very good atmosphere, with emphasis on the common national defence policy and explored possibilites for cooperation in the support of National Guard forces, the Cyprus Air Force Command and the Ministry of Defence in general.
