The Hellenic Aerospace Industry participated in the United States defense exhibition, “AUSA 2021 Annual Meeting and Exposition”, within the framework of the National Pavilion under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense - General Directorate of Defense Investments &Armaments and Enterprise Greece. This is the most important defense exhibition in the United States, where leading American and International defense industries present their achievements. The exhibition was held on October 11-13, 2021 in Washington, D.C.
HAI, with important partnerships in the United States, had a series of meetings with American companies such as Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, Elbit Systems of America, Adventure Aviation, AAR, Alion Science & Technology. The foreign missions and the visitors of the stand were informed about the activities, the know-how, the highly skilled personnel, and the inexhaustible capabilities of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry.
The inauguration of the Greek Pavilion was held by Jack Haley, Brigadier General, U.S. Army Retired, Vice President Membership & Meetings AUSA, Mrs. Alexandra Papadopoulou Ambassador of Greece to Washington, Mr. Nikolaos Bakatselos, President of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Aristides Alexopoulos General Manager of GDDIA, Ms. Heidi Grant Director Defense Security Cooperation Agency and Ms. Beatty Alexandropoulou Executive Director & Member of the BoD Enterprise Greece. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of foreign missions and other officials.
The National Pavilion was organized for the 8th consecutive year by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
